The propose of the Undergraduate courses of the Center is to enable students to perform their best on their chosen profession, as well as develop research in their area of expertise, plan strategies, manage uncertainty, solve problems and work with multidisciplinary teams.

Exchanges programs that allow double diplomas, laboratories that combine information technology with modern equipment, libraries with extensive bibliographic and digital collections are part of the CTC structure, that provides the necessary tools to promote the scientific training of the professional.

Before choosing a specialization, the undergraduate students begin their studies on the Basic Cycle, concentrating on subjects common to all courses, in the areas of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Informatics, as well as receiving extensive scientific training and intense laboratory practice. After this four-term period is completed, the Engineering students are able to choose between the qualification courses, offered by the Professional Cycle of Engineering.

Students are able to obtain apprenticeship opportunities in prestigious companies without difficulty and some courses provide the opportunity to a full-time internship.  The alumni of these courses are, mostly, in excellent positions in the market and, for those who want to pursue an academic career, the CTC also offers graduate programs that are equivalent in quality to international standards.
